As
Christians called in every age to identify with those who suffer, we
recognise the emotional pain experienced by families and especially
children made orphans by AIDS related deaths.
People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are also created in the image
of God, therefore they should be able to enjoy the same rights that
any other believer has in the Church, and the rights of all citizens
in
society.
To accomplish this, we will create conditions for PLWHA to receive support
within the church, to participate in all activities of the church and
community and to become an essential resource in areas such as education,
training, advocacy, theological reflection, prevention of HIV/AIDS and
the development programmes.
In
response to the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic’s unprecedented
impact upon the children of God in sub Sahararan Africa,
we are called upon to respond decisively and in faith.
We seek a future for our country where the impact of AIDS is mitigated...OUR MISSION
